Aside from ‘free energy’ devices which some claim are myths (even though the information is just being suppressed so that we use more oil), creating power out of nothing is next-to-impossible. The first step down from the idea of ‘free energy’ is air. It is abundant, all around us and inside us. The idea of using compressed air as propulsion is so brilliantly simple that it makes us wonder why it hasn’t been done on a large scale until now?
Tata, the creators of the world’s cheapest car and more recently the very small Emo EV, they have never done things the classic way. They use thinking outside the box as the philosophy behind their new and innovative products. It’s not the first time that Tata showcase compressed-air power, as they unveiled a concept which had a top speed of 80 km/h (50mph) and had a maximum range of 140 km (80 miles). Pretty good numbers for something which is 100% eco-friendly and can be fueled for free (in most countries) as most service stations offer compressed air free of charge.

We think that this is definitely a very important step in the right direction and good news for EV haters. It’s a brilliant idea which will hopefully take off soon as it’s the kind of simple yet effective green engineering we need to coexist in harmony with our planet.
