Suzuki SX4 S-Cross HD Wallpapers

Offroading is something the Suzuki badge is all too familiar with and yet we are here to serve you a series of SX4 S-Cross HD wallpapers, which means we have to turn things down to softroading. With the second generation of the SX4, the ground clearance has gone down a bit. Add this to the lack of underbody protection and you’ll understand why you shouldn’t venture all that far into rugged terrain with the S-Cross.

When it comes to the handling department, our all-wheel drive equipped tester came with a neutral setup, albeit allowing the front end to show the rear, as well as the driver, who is boss. The rear can receive up to 50 percent of the torque, but the system strives to keep things as FWD as possible, all in the bid to increase efficiency.

Our S-Cross tester was motivated by a naturally-aspirated 1.6-liter petrol unit. Its 120 horses offered decent dynamics for a crossover of this kind, with the main focus being, once again, fuel efficiency. Seriously, we had the five-speed manual and the car kept asking us to switch into fifth at 60 km/h (37 mph).

The S-Cross has kept the overall unusual silhouette of the first SX4, but the styling details have come a long way. The crossover’s appearance makes it look like a more serious car, not just a compact hatchback on stilts. And to talk efficiency again, the design of the door mirrors and wheels is aimed at reducing drag.

It’s interesting how Suzuki honed the SX4, the first one, as a bit of a hipster. Yes, this was a car that went into crossover mode before it was cool. Still, Suzuki chose to stick to its traditional ways, while the ever-growing competition has come up with more desirable designs, among others. This is where the SX4 S-Cross steps into the scene. Sure, this still doesn’t have an appeal that’s all that borad, but it certainly surpasses its predecessor.

There’s really noting all that special to the S-Cross’ key fob, but we figured there must be people in the world that want a clear photo of a Suzuki key, so here it is ladies and gentlemen. As for the rest of the car’s details, you can check them out in the Full HD photo gallery of our Suzuki SX4 S-Cross review.
