When Suzuki came out with the 3rd gen Swift back in 2010, people really thought it was the same car as the one before because it looked almost exactly the same. But in reality, they increased the size of the car to make it bigger inside.
In 2012, they also finished work on a new ZC32S (1.6-liter) engine which now produced slightly more power than before and they fitted it to the Swift Sport.
Frankfurt 2013 marks the auto show debut of another big step for the Swift, as they've just shown the 5-door version of the Swfit Sport, which also sports a minor facelift.
The car is mechanically identical to the 3-door Swift Sport but has added practicality.
The Swift Sport 5-door is already on sale in Britain where it costs £14,249, £500 extra compared to the 3-door. The good news is that a CVT option is also available for those people who don't want to change gears themselves.
