Today we wold like to show this unique Chevrolet Camaro Convertible, set to go for auction this weekend at Mecum Auto Auctions in Houston.
Why is it unique? Well, at first glance you will probably say that it is just another tuned classic Camaro. In fact is more than that. It’s exactly the opposite - a modern Camaro heavily modified to look like its classic ancestor.
To be more specifically, underneath the 1969 Camaro Z28 body parts lays the mechanical ones of a 2001Z28. The car is absolutely gorgeous, looking like a classic muscle car but having modern day performances and comfort.
Maybe today’s car manufacturers can get inspired by this one-off Camaro when they try to resurrect iconic muscles and end up with bulky vehicles that remotely reminds of their legendary predecessors.
