Subaru United Kingdom announced that it's reintroducing the most affordable BRZ money can buy. The SE is fitted with either a six-speed manual or an optional six-speed auto and it will set you back just £22,495, topping at £25,495 for the SE Lux auto.
Even the most basic of trim levels is generously specified. To highlight just a few goodies offered as standard equipment, we'll mention dual-zone climate control, cruise control, push-button start, keyless entry, body-hugging sporty seats, VSC, a Torsen limited slip differential for the hooligan in you and front, side, curtain and knee airbags.

Of course, there's a lot you can choose from the optional extras list, but satellite navigation is still a dealer fit option. Step up to the manual BRZ SE Lux and £1,500 over the entry-level SE trim adds heated Alcantara & leather trimmed seats. A bit steep, yeah, but by comparison, the least expensive Toyota GT 86 goes for £25,110 in the United Kingdom, or almost 400 pounds sterling cheaper than the top spec Subaru BRZ SE Lux with the six-speed automatic.

And yes, the automatic gearbox comes with flappy paddles that give you complete control over cog swapping duties. Already available to order, the Subaru BRZ SE and its sister model from Toyota are built at Subaru's Gunma plant in Japan. The 200 horsepower BRZ comes with a 5-year/60k-mile warranty.
