A few months ago, we brought you the very first photos and details about a MINI Countryman that was being transformed into a real life steampunk vehicle. The Polish company that started it has released full photos now, saying the car is complete.
The most spectacular part of the car is the interior. Most of the trim peaces have been reworked, and some are actually made from copper not plastic. The air vent covers, part of the steering wheel and the clocks all have the copper look. In addition, clock-like mechanical elements are fitted to the steering wheel center and new windows cut through the seat cushions, giving the impression you can see how everything works.

From what we understand, the elements are actually covered with a thin copper sheet that was hand-beaten into shape. No wonder it took them 9 months to finish the car!

The rest of the interior is redone in two shades of earthy-colored leather, while the seatbacks and floors are made from lacquered dark wood. In the trunk, a huge sound system was installed, while the sides are covered in fur.

The exterior was wrapped in matte black, while the roof is copper. The wheels are an old BBS design, also finished in copper.

This project was done for Wodna Wieza, a polish chain who has steampunk restaurants and bars.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
