Since there's no hiding from the long lens of our spy photographers, Porsche had no choice but to let these revealing shots be taken.
The car you see right her sis the refreshed version of the Porsche Panamera saloon, almost completely undisguised.

The biggest changes are at the front, where the front fascia aka the whole bumper was changed to suit the look of the new 911. Those of you of an astute nature will immediately see the central intake is bigger and its shape is basically inverted. The trapezoidal opening now has the big edge at the bottom, giving the impression of a pronounced "chin". This design and that of the headlights resembles the recent Panamera Sport Turismo Concept shown last year in Frankfurt.

Upon closer inspection of the photos we received, some of the prototypes appear to have a different grille design that resembles the current one but is a little bit more modern. We think this means the Panamera S , Turbo S or GTS will be have different front end designs.

Right, now onto the more interesting aspects of the Panamera, the advanced powertrains. For the 2014 model, the naturally aspirated V8 of the S and 4S models could be replaced by a new 3.0-liter V6 with twin turbos. Porsche will also likely introduced the Diesel S model as well, motivated by the same V8 as the Cayenne Diesel S.

Expect to see the fresh Panamera making its presence felt at the upcoming Shanghai Auto Show next month, a place where the model was first shown four years ago.
