Spyshots: Next-Gen Citroen C4
As you can see for yourselves, the camo used by the guys over at Citroen is somewhat efficient, although it looks like the cheapest material ever. However, it manages to hide the most important parts of the car, including the front and the rear fascia, which are expected to bring the most significant changes.
Details are still limited when it comes to the C4, but we do know that it will be somewhat similar to the DS4, a better equipped version that will comprise some exclusive features. The same case will also exist for the C3 range, which is projected to receive a DS designation in the upcoming years.
As for the engines to be fitted on the future C4, this matter is still an enigma for all of us but, similar to the rest of the industry, it will be probably equipped with fuel-efficient and less-polluting configurations. A diesel-hybrid drivetrain developed by PSA Group and which could reach the Peugeot RCZ is also possible. The maximum output, if we take into account the maximum power of both the diesel and the electric units, is likely to go around 200 hp.
As we said, the C4 is due to be released this year, with the first public appearance to happen in September at the Paris Motor Show.
