Delayed until 2015, the next-generation Chevrolet Cruze is still under development and it’s been about a year since we started spotting it on German roads and even at the Nurburgring track.
GM took the small sedan to Sweden recently, for some cold weather testing, but it appears the vehicle made its way back to Germany, where it was caught once again by our skilled photographers. Although camo is still all over the place, we notice that the 2016 Cruze sports a sleeker profile, a larger front grille and skinnier headlamps.
Previous spyshots also revealed that the new taillight cluster is narrower, while the interior suggests the new Cruze will arrive with a dash of upmarket in it. Powertrain options are still a mystery, but expect the sedan to arrive with Opel’s 1.6-liter SIDI Turbo engine under the hood.
