Spyshots: Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series Sheds Camo

The hottest version of the SLS AMG has started its slow and methodical teasing by taking of some of the camo that originally covered the front of the body. An amazing shape is thus revealed, one with massive air scoops feeding the brakes and the massive engine.

The skirt on the car is low and lean and there are little wings on the side of the bumper to channel the air and create downforce. The side of the wing and the bonnet are both covered in patches, indicating that the Black Series could have more air vents than an office building.

We still don’t know what the Skunk Works inside Mercedes have done to the engine. It could be the massive swan song of the naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8, but we’re secretly dreaming of a massive power increase and the sound of twelve cylinder.
