The Mercedes E-Class is on its way of receiving a facelift, with the German carmaker working full-throttle to develop the fresh car, which is expected to arrive next year. Our spy shooters recently encountered a prototype of the Mercedes E-Class facelift, which came in the form of an Estate model that had its important parts fully covered in camo.
First and foremost, the E-Class will leave the four-headlights look, which was introduced back in 1995 by the W210 generation, behind, with the new front lights using a more modern design. The front bumper will re refreshed and will integrate the daytime running lights, and so will the rear bumper. As for the taillights, these will only receive minor changes.
In addition to that, Merc will also reshape the rear fender, with this only requiring a change in the shape of the rear doors.
Moving past the exterior changes, we’ll tell you that the carmaker plans a multitude of interior and tech updates, with the E-Class set to offer a multitude of new gadgets, such as a Head-up Display, Magic Ride Control, Intelligent Lane Assist and others.
