Reports that Mercedes is planning an AMG version of the new B-Class that made its debut in Frankfurt have been rampant, and we are pleased to say they were correct. That’s right ladies and gentlemen, the B-Classe AMG has been spotted with two exhaust round the back and a bigger scoops round the front to suck in more air.
The company expects that a smaller AMG model that’s still practical will attract young buyers. Modifications are expected to follow AMG’s traditional range of improvements including revised chassis tuning, exterior enhancements and a higher-performance engine.
Speaking of the engine, that’s rumored to be a 2.0-liter turbocharged to produce somewhere between 324 hp and 355 hp. The dual-clutch transmission will deliver that power to all four wheels, so it should be a match of sorts for the Audi RS3 Sportback.
