It almost feels that Ford only just started production of the B-Max mini MPV, and that's this model was launched in June 2012. The Romanian factory that also makes most of Ford's little 1-liter engines has been churning Bs at a fairly steady pace, but sales are nowhere near those of the Fiesta.
One reason for this is that the B-Max has plenty of competitors, but it's also true that it doesn't look quite as nice of the Fiesta either. There's nothing that can be done about the tall body, but Ford can tweak the nose a little.
That's exactly what these engineers are doing: testing a Ford B-Max with a tweaked nose. The large hexagonal lower grille (see photo below) has turned into two much smaller ones, one above the number plate and the other below. We can't really see any other changes on the car, but expect MyFord to get an update when the updated B-Max hits showroom later this year.
Editor's note: Fiat Viaggo was it? What's that doing in the picture?
