If you haven't had enough with the upcoming Dacia SUV and the spyshots showing the real car, with no cover, we presented a week back weren't enough to satisfy your appeal, here's a new set of photos showing the SUV, covered in what may very well be the ugliest camo we ever did see. And, to be honest, one of the most effective.
As you can see, not much can by distinguished under all that wrapping. Still, the front end appears to have remained as unappealing as the one we already saw on the previous spyshots. The same happens at the back of the car.
As we reported in our past coverages, the Qashqai inspired Dacia will be powered, according to initial reports, by medium displacement engines, most likely 1.6l petrol and 1.5l diesel, with power outputs ranging from 85 hp to 130 hp. A bigger 1.9l diesel may also fit well under the SUV's hood.
Earlier this week, rumors surrounding a possible name for the Dacia SUV started surfacing. Now, it would appear Dacia will go for one of two choices: either Kanjara, a name which will be reminiscent of the Qashqai, or Duster, the original name given to the Geneva Auto Show-unveiled SUV concept.
As for prices, they are likely to be lower than the overall average. True to the quality-price ratio set by the Logan, the SUV is intended to offer as much as it can for as little as it can. Rumors go it will wear a price tag of around 18,000 euro.
