In early 2013, BMW will start selling the facelifted version of the only 2-seater they have right now, the Z4. The current generation was launched back in 2009, which mens the life cycle impulse will come after about four years, so let’s see what’s about to change.
Well, as far as we can see from these spy photos, not much at all. Instead of adopting the same design language as the F30 3-Series, the front end appears to be largely the same. The headlights have not been pulled into the the grille, but the graphics will change for the LED ‘angel eyes’.

This might still be an early prototype, so we might eventually see a few other changes to the bars of the grille or to the air intakes in the lower bumper. The indicators, meanwhile, will move to the side mirrors, thus justifying the camouflage on the fenders. At the rear, we expect minor changes to the taillights... and that’s about it!

It’s official folks, BMW now has the laziest designers ever!

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
