BMW's platforms usually only underpin two or three cars at a time, but he UKL1 is going into more compacts than we have names for.
Eight to ten MINIs will have it, and so will lots of other cars from BMW. The first will be the 1 Series GT, and we also have reason to believe the X1 will go FWD. But these are two new cars which we don't even know the names of yet.

These MPVs have 5- and 7-seater configurations. The bigger of the two has a different hatch, but there appear to be similarities between the car's bodywork.

The front-drive twin really have no place in the numerical hierarchy that is BMW's model range. They do, however, have codenames: FAST (Family Active Sports Tourear) for the smaller car and CAT (Compact Active Tourer) for the other… or was it the other way around.

We really have no idea why BMW is making Ford C-Max and S-Max types of vehicles, but we'll probably find out next year.
