The S-Class Coupe is a car we've been eagerly following throughout its development, partly because Mercedes has made this a very public deal, and because it's probably going to be the most amazing lump of metal ever made.
Based on the same platform as the new S-Class sedan family, this two-door will have its own styling, sportier and more youthful than its corporate brother. The photo gallery below will give you a detailed look at the interior of the S-Coupe. As always, a quality product's image is projected by excellent materials, including immaculate black leather and lots of brushed metals.
The focal point of our photos has to be the steering wheel. This is a new design, different to the one in the S-Class or the SL roadster. It's thickly spoked and has a rounded center, different to other Merc designs.
The all-digital environment seen in the S-Class sedan is preserved, though sportier menus could make everything more engaging. We'll know more about the S-Class Coupe soon, as the car is expected to debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.

- S 63 AMG Coupe powered by a twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8 with 585 bhp (436 kW) and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) of torque
- S 65 AMG Coupe powered by a twin-turbo 6.0-liter V12 with 630 HP (463 kW) and 1,000 Nm (737 lb-ft) of torque
