When we tested the Lexus CT 200h in 2011, it was so much more than we expected. Dynamic and refined, something refreshingly different from European compact hatchbacks.
But predictably, it didn't sell well in the US or Europe, though Japanese demand was high. Now though, Lexus has made a few changes that we thing will please a lot more people.
The facelift we've been talking about is finally here. The 2015 CT 200h has been spotted on the streets of America, as it was participating in a photo shoot. The F Sport package is what we're looking at here, easily distinguished from its more aggressive look.
Here, Lexus designers have reworked the front end to take the Spindle Grille Design. We like the 3D effect generated by this design, and we love the fuller headlights which have been kept despite the IS having much smaller units. Round the back, the only change is a lower diffuser skirt, but we're more than happy with the overall changes, especially since a gloss black roof and new wheels are part of the package.
