Spyshots: 2014 Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet Laps the Nurburgring
Our spy shooters have recently captured the 2014 Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet lapping the Nurburgring with no camouflage at all.
First of all, we’ll have the complex Panel Bow top of the 991 Porsche 911 Cabriolet, which follows the line of the Coupe’s roof and makes extensive use of materials like magnesium. This will be placed over the 911 Turbo and considering the level of refinement the Germans are currently playing at, the handling differences to the Coupe should be extremely hard to spot.
We’ll remind you that the 911 Turbo delivers 520, while the 911 Turbo S produces 560, but the two feature so much more than forced induction power. Among other, this topless Porsche will be gifted with integral active steering, as well as active aerodynamics.
Enjoy these spyshots, the may by the latest one you see until the vehicle is officially shown - the 2014 Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet is expected to debut this fall at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
