The test team was testing a new set of underpinnings for the luxury sedan, which will use a wider track. The new Infiniti G is rumored to use Mercedes parts and most likely a few engines, shared under the new Renault-Nissan alliance with Daimler.

It’s still too early to say for sure, but the G Series should include a coupe and convertible. There’s talk of downsized turbo engines, a better diesel and a hybrid version that uses the same powertrain as the M35h.

We have no concept to preview the styling of the G sedan. It really feels like Nissan is really strapped for cash.
