Having made an exciting debut at the Shanghai Auto Show a few months ago, the BMW X4 is one of the most hotly anticipated cars of the moment. Our men with the long camera lenses have managed to finally snap some photos of this coupe-ish SUV in its production form, as it will look once it rolls off the line.
It’s believed the model will be revealed late this year before going on display at the 2014 NAIAS in Detroit.
The X4 will make a dynamic entry onto the market with just a few engine options. The first models will probably come in 35i and 28i flavors with turbocharged 3- and 2-liter engines. Judging from the fact that it has only two exhaust pipes on one side, this could be the 328i model, although a 320d is equally as important for the X4 range, since that diesel engine is most often specified with compact BMWs in Europe.
The interior of this mini-X6 has never been seen, but we believe it will be pretty much the same as the F25 X3 with maybe the addition of more M Performance parts being available.
