The replacement for the E92 M3 Coupe is almost here, and it will pick up where the E46 left off: lighter chassis, sportier looks and most importantly six cylinders under the bonnet, organized in a row.
But the M4 is by no means old-fashioned. Thanks to the magic of turbocharging, its S55 engine will deliver 430 hp and over 500 Nm of torque. Making things more interesting, the drive shaft which sends the power to the rear diff will be made of CFRP.
Sexy shadowline back trim, a Sakhir Orange paintjob and black alloy wheels sitting over performance brakes are just some of the things the M4 took with it on the prowl in Germany.
