Spyshots: 2013 Fiat Panda 4x4
What’s different from the frond-drive Panda is that this offers a different suspension setup with longer springs and pampers to cope with the bums and offer extra travel. The car sits higher off the ground and will have plastic cladding at all corners, like an Audi Allroad, to protect it from dings.
Much like the old generation, the back wheels are linked via a hydraulically actuated multi-plate clutch ahead of the rear differential, which activates when it senses wheel slip.
Expect to find the new Panda 4x4 at your local Fiat dealer towards the end of the year.
