Like the GT we showed you earlier, the regular 5-Siries will also receive a facelift that should arrive next spring as a 2014 model year in the states. The F10/F11 started a design evolution for BMW that really saw them returning to classic lines, and it’s nice to see they’re updating it.
Changes at the front target the intakes in the lower bumper but seam to leave the grille untouched. The headlights are partially covered up but could get the semi-angular look of the 2013 7-Series LCI.
Meanwhile at the back, the graphics of the taillights appear to have been targeted and the camouflage that only covers the lower part of the bumper suggest changes there are minimal.
So, since new engines aren’t really possible for the 5-Series range, the changes for the LCI likely include LED headlights, an upgraded interior with optimized soundproofing, improved ride comfort and better options.
Are these changes enough, or ar BMW enthuziasts just a bit too much like Apple fanboys?
