BMW is getting closer and closer to releasing the facelifted version of the 7-Series and our spy photographers have once again encountered the vehicle, this time during a cold weather testing session.
The revamp will be a minor one, with the exterior changes targeting the bumpers and the lights - headlights will get the carmaker’s latest “angel eye” treatment, using LED technology, while the taillights will also be revised. In addition to that, the interior will also receive a bit of attention, with the focus being placed on the instrument panel.
As for the list of tech changes, this will include the replacement of the current six-speed automatic gearbox with the new ZF eight-speed transmission, while the engines should get minor tweaks that aim to increase efficiency.
The facelifted version of BMW’s flagship sedan is scheduled to make its appearance in March, at this year’s edition of the Geneva Auto Show.
