BMW will transform the platform of the sixth-generation F30 3-Series sedan into the firs generation 4-Series range, which will include the coupe, convertible and possibly even the GT notchback. The car in this fresh set of spyshots is the F32 two-door coupe.
It’s going to be revealed later this year and will go on sale in 2013, most likely within the first half in order to take advantage of the summer season. The engine range should be borrowed from the F30, with a strong focus being put on the new 2.0-liter in the 428i.
There are no new engine that we haven’t heard about, but the 4-Series will of course be more efficient than its predecessor. From a list of trademark filings, we know there will be various M Performance models called the M430, M435, M440 and M450. So, we're looking at a new 450 model sitting above the rest of the range, and this is most likely the super-diesel.
