Audi usually take a minimal approach to redesigning its cars. You’d need a car expert to tell the new A3 apart from the old one, and the same goes if you have pictures of the A4 and A6 without the ability to tell the differences in size.
However, the upcoming facelift for the R8 has worked well in our opinion, since the car didn’t need many cosmetic changes. The mods will cover the lights, grille and some other small cosmetic aspects of the sportscar. We think that since the car has circular exhausts, not square ones, this is actually the GT version of the R8.

Speaking of the versions, Audi will still offer a 4.2-liter V8 for the base model and a 5.2-liter for the V10. However, output should be increased to 450 hp for the base car and 540 for the V10. But the biggest change is that the single clutch box will be replaced by a new double-clutch unit.

The use of carbon fiber and aluminum will be extended to more body panels. Thinner glass and carpets are also part of the lightening process.

Updated: We have new photos with virtually no camo on the car. It seems that Audi is working on the V8, V10 and GT versions of the car at the same time.
