Opel will introduce the Astra OPC hot hatch at the Geneva Motor Show, but the carmaker is also currently working to finish the development an Astra version that can be found at the other scale of the range - the Sedan.
The vehicle was caught on camera by pur team while it was performing hot weather testing and it is expected to be presented in its final form at this year’s Paris Motor Show.
The Asta sedan is a version of the car that aims to mix lower costs with higher practicality, with this recipe proving very succesful in the past for the model. However, the vehicle isn’t very appreciated in Northern and Central Europe, but in countries like Italy, Spain and Greece, as well as in Eastern Europe.
Under the hood, we’ll find the Astra hatch’s engine range (minus the sporty units), while the rear end design will borrow certain cues from that of the Insignia, which means that we could get an interesting look.
