Mercedes is working overtime for the development of the new A-Class and we want to show you some photos that show two prototypes wearing less camo than before.
As you can see the design changes are extremely complex and yet the vehicle can be instantly recognised as an entry-level Mercedes. However, the vehicle is still wearing some camouflage, so we can’t get the full details.
Under the hood, the upcoming A-Class should borrowe its engines range from the new B-Class, which means that we’ll get up to five petrol unitsm with power ranging between 109 and 204 hp and four oil burners, with outputs between 122 and 204 hp.
In addition to that, the A-Class will receive an AMG version, which should be fitted with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged unit delivering around 325 hp, but the details, such as the possibility of a dual clutch transmission, are still unclear.
As for the interior, this is also expected to borrow a lot of elements from the new B-Class, but again it’s too early to tell what will set the two models apart.
