Spyshots: 2011 Chevrolet Lacetti
As you can see for yourselves in the adjacent photos, the car is heavily disguised so only a little can be distinguished from these pics. Although the spied car comes in two-door form, a five-door variant is very likely to join the range. The car boasts redesigned headlights and taillights, restyled front and rear bumpers - as far as we can see through the camouflage - and an extended grille flanked by the new headlights. Other details are obviously very scarce at this time but more data is expected to be released in the upcoming months as the car is undergoing heavy tests.
Nevertheless, we do know the car is going to be sold in most regions around the world, no matter we're talking about Europe, United States or Australia. But the more interesting thing to be said is that Chevrolet is reportedly planning to use different names for the new Lacetti, obviously depending on the targeted area.
For example, it seems like Europeans and North Americans would go to the Chevy dealers and ask for a Chevrolet Lacetti while customers would request information about Holden Viva Hatch. Living in Asia? Well, in case you'd like to testdrive the new Lacetti, you would better ask for Suzuki Reno. There are several other nameplates to be used across the world, including Buick Excelle HRV, Chevrolet Optra and Chevrolet SRV.
