Sportec Beefs Up the Audi RS6

Yet another tuner stands up and shouts that the 580hp and 650 Nm (479 lf-bt) of torque offered by Audi RS6’s V10 are not enough: The Swiss tuner Sportec has developed a two-stage tuning package for the saloon and Avant versions of the German powerwar soldier. This is available in two power versions, in order to appeal to both performance interested and adrenaline obsessed drivers.

Stage One of the kit is an ECU upgrade that brings the power up to 650 hp, offered at 6,300 rpm and raises the torque figure to 740 Nm(540 lb-ft), a value delivered between 2,500 and 4,000 rpm.

This extra muscle allows the RS6 to leave the 62 mph mark behind in 4.4 seconds, pushing it to an electronically limited top speed of 190 mph. The pack has been designed for drivers who only want a fine adjustment and can be installed for 3,150 euro (VAT included).

The performance junkies can opt for Stage Two, which comes with an ECU remap including fueling, ignition and boost parameters optimization and the fitment of road legal sport catalysts. This allows the 5.0 liter V10 to produce 700 hp at 6,200 rpm and 800Nm (584 lb-ft) of torque between 3,000 and 6,200 rpm.

The Stage Two Sportec Audi RS2 only needs 4.2 seconds to cover the 0 to 62 mph sprint and, just like its less powerful sibling, can reach an electronically limited top speed of 190 mph. This extreme modification pack can be yours for 7,300 euro (VAT included).

For customers who want a complete transformation of their vehicle, the tuning house also offers braking and suspension upgrades, as well as a wide range of alloy rims.
