When GM introduced the Camaro ZL1, we started asking ourselves which will be the first aftermarket developer to offer a modification pack for the vehicle. It seems that SLP Performance is one of the companies that wants to be connected to the model. The tuner has released its own ZL1 kit, aiming to offer a top speeding machine.
However, this is not actually a ZL1, as the project is based on the Camaro SS, coming with an incredibly long list of modifications. How can we sum this up? 750 hp, an infinity of tech mods, $80,000, with the price not including the cost of the base vehicle. And you might also have to hurry if you want one, as only 69 will be built.
Here are some of the goodies offered by SLP Performance:
“Now, in the tradition of that legendary ZL1 Camaro of yesteryear, SLP presents the 2011 ZL1 Camaro. Only 69 will be built for 2011; all with a 750HP Supercharged 427ci powerplant; and they’ll go fast! Literally,” a company statement reads.
