Two of the newest arrivals retailer Hammacher Schlemmer recently uploaded on their website are probably every driver’s dream come true. Two legendary full-size race cars replicas, the 1969 Camaro Z28 and the Porsche 917, incorporate a slot car track built after two of the world’s best known raceways, Waltkins Glen International and Le Mans.
We all love fast cars and some off us still dream they someday get the chance to drive a racing car on the track at an international competition. Well, these two scale car racing tracks will definitely get you closer to the feeling of adventure and most likely will squeeze the fun out of your weekends.

The first, is a full-size 1969 Camaro Z28 that incorporates a slot car track modeled after the legendary Watkins Glen International raceway. According to the retailer, the classic ride retains its authentic magnesium Minilite wheels and lightweight steel body, while its blue exterior is emblazoned with original Penske and Sunoco logos. Folks can also observe the #6 on the door, which commemorates champion driver Mark Donohue, who steered the Camaro to six victories in 1969.

According to the source, the two-lane track makes way for the 1/32-scale slot cars to navigate the Glen’s trademark 11 curves. The raceway is made out of hand-carved wooden route, banked to facilitate maximum speeds. A key fob turns the track on, while pushing on the door handle activates LEDs that illuminate the course. The Camaro comes with 12 slot cars, with models such as the Ford Mustang, Dodge Challenger and the Chevy Camaro.

The Le Mans Raceway is integrated into Porsche 917 replica that also conceals a 1:32-scale working wooden slot car track faithful to the iconic raceway. Painted in the same color scheme and #20 race number - an homage to the classic 1971 movie starring Steve McQueen - the 917 has genuine race-worn GT prototype tires on aluminum three-piece rims and working headlights and taillights. As opposed to the Camaro raceway, the Porsche includes 12 limited-edition slot cars, including the dominant racing models from 1970-1971, painted in authentic period livery, like the Ferrari 512 Coda Lunga and the Lola T70, among others.

But this rich toys won’t come cheap, of course. The Camaro Watkins Glen Raceway will cost you $85,000, while for the Porsche Le Mans one you’ll need to add $40,000.
