Skoda has shown for the first time ever its Superb Combi with the exclusive design package Laurin & Klement at this year’s Autosalon Brno. The vehicle was presented today during an official press conference at the event, impressing everyone with its equipment level and design changes.

The design package isn’t just available for the station wagon, but also for the five-door sedan model. It brings a chromium-plated front grille and the Laurin & Klement plaque at the rear of the vehicle. An individual touch was achieved by the addition of the bigger, 18-inch light alloy wheels “Sirius”.

Why stepping inside the Superb, you are greeted by large door sills made of stainless steel. The sills are adorned with the Laurin & Klement logo, which can also be found on the rear of the front seats. The “Executive” interior equipment is offered exclusively in combination with the design package, and is color-coordinated to the body with the new metallic color “Magnetic Brown”. Skoda offer customers the choice of opting for special decorative trims in the design “Piano” or in a wood decor.

The engine range available includes two turbocharged petrol-powered four-cylinder engine 2.0 TSI with the six-gear automatic transmission DSG and the six-cylinder 3.6 FSI V6, also with the six-gear automatic transmission DSG and all-wheel drive. Those who prefer a diesel-burner version can opt for the 2.0 TDI , which is available in combination with the six-gear manual transmission or the DSG.

Another highlight of the event was the presentation of the VisionD design study, with which Skoda hoped to show its future lines and styling trends. The special edition model Fabia Monte Carlo emphasizes the sporty character of the brand, paying homage to successes in motor sports and the 110-year old motor sports tradition of the manufacturer.
