According to Gulf News, the company recently managed to convince 10 customers that its Tuatara is the car to buy, managing to register sales of $13 (EUR9.7) million. Shelby Supercars attended the Dubai International Motor Show, looking to just gather attention, but the company discovered that there was real demand for the Tuatara, selling the ten units over a period of five days.
“Our expectation was nothing more than to create awareness of the brand in this region and find a distributor, but this has been amazing. The business has been outstanding," founder Jerod Shelby said.
