With the 2015 Mustang right around the corner, Shelby Performance Parts, a division of Shelby American, is launching four new accessories that can be fitted to the current-generation pony.
First up is the Shelby 1000 hood, which brings more aggressive overall height and profile to any 2010-2014 Shelby GT500 and 2013-2014 Mustang GT or V6. The hood is said to provide a sleeper look to these musclecars and it’s tall enough to house any 4.0-liter Shelby/Ford Racing/Whipple or Kenne Bell supercharger.

Next in line is a hydrocarbon engine cover tailored to fit any 5.0-liter Coyote from the 2011 to 2014 model years. The covers are built to OEM standards and can be ordered in 13 different accent colors matching Ford’s factory exterior paints.

Shelby Performance is also offering a new battery changer and maintainer that comes with an unique display, a battery diagnosis system and a reconditioning function that restores stratified and deeply discharged batteries. The accessory is reverse polarity protected and short-circuit proof and benefits from a 5-year warranty.

Finally, Shelby Performance is also selling a collection of 36”x72” banners printed on material. They won’t improve your Mustang, but they can be hanged in a garage or workspace. Banner designs include several GT500 models as well as the Shelby Super Snake. Each item is sold with a certificate of authenticity.

“We’ve included something for every Shelby enthusiast in this month’s featured Shelby Performance Parts line up,” said Shelby Performance Parts vice president Jer Gervasi. “Whether you’re looking to upgrade the look of your Shelby or Ford Mustang with a hood designed under Carroll’s direction, or just want to add some classic Shelby design to your ‘man cave’, these items will definitely exceed your expectations.”
