Shark shows Vancore, the latest addition to their helmet line-up, a lid which takes off where their nifty Raw left off. If you loved the Raw but wanted more facial protection, the Vancore is just the right gear for you.
Vancore retains the acclaimed basic shape of the Raw helmet, the design which was enjoyed thoroughly by a lot of urban riders this year. The added chin bar brings in the needed extra protection in case of a crash, and some more styling credit, too.
The absence of the visor guarantees the "wind in your face" experience, whereas riders can always use goggles for longer hauls. The Vancore's interior has also been redesigned for a better fit with riders wearing glasses.
Shark Vancore comes with a thermoplastic resin shell, micrometric buckle, multi-density EPS inner liner, a washable interior, and a front upper vent. This 1,25 kg (2.75 lb) lid comes in sizes XS through XL and 2 shell sizes, for €259 ($356).
