Shark have been around for quite some time in the motorcycle helmet business, with more than 20 years of experience and providing riders with nifty headgear. The French manufacturer shows Raw, a new urban helmet for the rider in search of good looking, scary protection.
We must admit that the Shark Raw is not a helmet appealing to everyone. It looks rather suitable for STALKER fans or for those who feel they also have to look scary. The Shark Raw comes with two shell sizes in injected thermoplastic resin, for the optimal morphological adjustment and a micro lock buckle system
The visor is treated for scratch resistance on the outside, while the inside has received an anti-fogging layer. Not at all sure whether it will beat the Pinlock, but definitely worth a try. The visor also comes with a quick release system, and Shark stress that the Raw will be comfortable for riders wearing glasses, even with the goggles on.
We like the facial protection mask defending against bugs and debris, but still, we should remember the Raw is an open-face model so those looking for the ultimate protection should maybe look elsewhere.
This helmet also comes with a washable, detachable interior and rumor goes that the price will be around €220 ($285).
