Tuning projects for German cars are coming in hard and fast today, and the latest is for the S5 Sportback, the one before the facelift to be more precise. These guys know a thing or two about making subtle changes t o a fast Audi, and they’ve played with this car before.
The new modification pack brings the car’s supercharged 3.0 liter engine from its factory stock power of 333 hp to a level of 445 HP (327 kW) and 530 Nm. That’s in RS5 territory boys! The power and torque premium has been achieved through the installing of an ECU remap and a high-flow sports air filter. The tuner has also fitted a stainless steel exhaust system, that features sport catalytic converters and a four pipe muffler. This allows the powerplant to “breathe” more easily and offers a distinct sound.
In addition to that, the tuner has removed the top speed limiter that paused the car’s acceleration when the vehicle reached 250 km/h.
The S5 uses a lowered suspension, which reduces the front ride height by 40 mm and the rear ride height by 35 mm. The S5 Sportback rides in Elegant TS-7 rims, which come in a 20 inch size. The wheels are wrapped in 245/30 R20 (front axle) and 295/25 R20 high performance tires.
In addition, the engine breathing and looks helped by an additional muffler, a stainless steel X-Pipe measuring 63.5 mm in diameter and 4 exhaust pipes of 90x70 mm, all part of the new exhaust system.
