Senior vs. Junior American Chopper Cadillac Bikes Up for Grabs
text size: A- A+
Paul Junior says he wanted the rear of the bike to look exactly as the rear of the car, and even took the actual taillights from the CTS-V and modified it to made them work into the bike’s fender. The result is a ‘hot-rod-ish’ two-wheeled Caddy, as PJD likes to think. As for the Senior’s machine, it comes in a more old-school interpretation, more of a bobber look.
Now, the two motorcycles - which you can admire in the image gallery below - are in rivalry in charity purposes. Specifically, Discovery Channel, Cadillac and the two Pauls decided to put them up for public bidding in order to raise money for the Cure Duchenne charity.
There is time to bid for one of the bikes, or even for both of them if you have the money, until July 31, 2011, at 5:59 PM EST. We took the liberty to take a sneak peek at how things are going so far by accessing the auction link.
While we knew that Paul Junior has a lot of fans of his own, we were surprised to see the considerable difference between the amounts bid on each bike and the huge one between the numbers of Facebook members the like either OCC’s or PJD’s creation.
At the time of writing, the highest bid for the bikes stands at $50,000 for the OCC Caddy Bike and at $110,000 for the PJD one.
