After seeing Thrive Motorcycles' Yamaha Scorpio we understood that there is literally no limit to how cool can a small-displacement bike be. If you think that a quarter-liter motorcycle can't show off enough style to beat bigger machines hands down... here's Indra Pratama's Scorpio.
Starting as a paper sketch inspired form Japanese cartoons, the Scorpio has known a stunning development. Indra wanted to alter the overall lines of the bike, adding a dash of cafe-racer design and fluid, flowing shapes, so he lengthened and lowered the whole frame, and added a longer swingarm.

Unhappy to see how the tank and the rest of the bike's bodywork fitted with the new design, Indra took matters in his own hands and went on to craft his own seat pan and rear cowl, tank and front end.

The outcome could not be more glorious: the resulting body parts are an incredibly good match, and Indra's Lamborghini Sesto Elemento-inspired color scheme was the pinnacle of the whole build. A sober, matte black for the frame, wheels and engine, with a smooth change for a matter sand grey bodywork are probably one of the best backgrounds for the fiery red accents which make the Yamaha Scorpio one of the best quarter-liter bikes we've ever met.

And what's even nicer is that Indra has already ridden the Scorpio in Indonesia, on all sorts of roads: a cafe-racer may not be the best choice for damaged roads, but he came back in one piece and covered in touring glory. Seen on PipeBurn.
