Technology advancement enabled for the development of high-speed cameras which then allowed for further technological researches in multiple fields. Such as automotive safety improvements or ballistics.
But in their free time, scientists wanted to know how everyday actions look in slow motion and this created a whole new trend. Many people either working in the film industry or simply having a passion for videos and photography took out their high-speed cameras recording normal things you do or encounter every day but they move too fast for the human eye to see exactly. And here we refer at things like sneezing, a punch in the face, a bubble or baloon bursting, mouse traps, droplets falling in a puddle, glass shattering and a lot more.

The Slo Mo Guys over from Youtube are probably the most known in the ‘ultra-fast-filming’ industry, having dozens of videos posted on their channel ranging from the simplest thing you can imagine to explosions and bullets.

In this new videos the guys will show us how a puddle splash looks if its slowed down by around a hundred times. In fact, they will be the soon-to-be-wet test subjects here, because the car that will splash them is a Scion FR-S driven by racing driver Ken Gushi himself.
