Schumacher Update: Michael Out of the Hospital, Will Continue Rehabilitation at Home

Manager Sabine Kehm issued a statement today according to which Michael's condition is stable, but "there is no change in his state of health," and "the road ahead remains long and difficult." Kehm announced back in July that Schumacher lies mute and immobile, but he is able communicate with doctors and his family by moving his eyes or by batting his eyelashes.

The seven-time Formula 1 world champion famous for his stint at Ferrari has been discharged today from the medical clinic in Lausanne. Manager Sabine Kehm also mentioned that: "given the severity of the accident, progress has been made in the last few weeks and months. We'd like to thank the entire staff of the clinic in Lausanne for their work and their competence."

Michael's manager has also added that his family demands "respect for privacy and the avoidance of speculation about the health of Michael." This bit of news is very welcomed considering Michael has been in a medically-induced coma for almost six months.
