If there’s one color in BMW’s history that can be easily mistaken for the Yas Marina Blue used for the F80 M3, that’s Santorini Blue. Part of the Individual range, the difference between the two is made by just a couple of shades.
Dress up an older BMW E92 M3 in it and you might just give the new car a run for its money in the design and looks department. The one we have here is way beyond anything stock, the exterior color being just an introduction to the madness that hides beneath.

You can tell from the first moment you look at it that this is no ordinary M3. The paint doesn’t even matter, as soon as you’ll lay eyes on the big wing at the back some bells will start ringing, undoubtedly.

Going into more detail, we’ll tell you that the S65 4-liter V8 engine under the bonnet was fitted with an ESS VT2-625 supercharger system that came with its own exhaust and X-pipe to make sure the extra fumes will be dealt with correctly.

The power output was then raised to around 600 WHP which, in turn, demanded a new suspension from KW and a bigger set of brakes from StopTech, the ST Big Brake Kit being considered ‘appropriate’ at the European Auto Source garage.

That wasn’t all though. Mode Carbon also jumped in and fitted their carbon fiber side skirts to the overall package alongside their LM Series rear diffuser and V2 GTS front lip spoiler.

Inside, to keep everyone safe in case of a tumble, a roll bar was installed alongside a Performance Alcantara steering wheel, an iND shifter with AMS urethane knob and Status Racing Seats.

The end result can be admired in the gallery below and can easily run for one of the best modded cars we’ve had on our website. However, the motorsport look isn’t for everyone, some would probably prefer a more... modest approach, one that would rather take you by surprise rather than scream at you from the top of its lungs. On what side of the barricade are you?
