The highly-anticipated Saleen 351 Mustang, the company’s flagship musclecar, is now underway for production, the California-based specialist revealed.
Introduced as a prototype at the Fabulous Fords at Knotts show back in April, the Saleen 351 will hit the market with no less than 700 HP and 655 lb-ft of torque coming out of its 5.7-liter V8 engine. The vehicle will sport the company’s Red Butterfly Center Ram Air induction system and will be offered in both hardtop and convertible versions. Other details have yet to be revealed, but Saleen Automotive should provide more info as the flagship musclecar is getting ready for nationwide delivery.

“The amount of detail that we had to put in this vehicle is astounding”, said Steve Saleen. “I feel our team has struck the perfect balance of design, technology, and [of course] power,” he added.

The new Saleen 351 is being produced at the company’s facility in Corona, California.
