Russian Renault Duster Debuts at Moscow Auto Show
The French company has just unveiled the Russian version of the Duster at the 2010 Moscow Auto Show. The vehicle comes with certain modifications that target both the technical and the aesthetic areas.
The exterior of the SUV has received a light makeover. The front of the car now shows a modified grille, receiving a large chrome one, which is also larger than the one used by Dacia.
The same idea is used for the rear end, with multiple elements using a chrome finish. All these are aimed at offering the vehicle a more luxurious image. The interior of the vehicle will also receive modifications, with a new design coming. As for the tech side, the SUV will get a new engine, in the form of a 2.0 liter petrol unit.
Renault will assemble the Duster in the country starting from next year, with all the parts being imported.
“Economical to run and affordable, this genuine 4×4 is an unrivaled offer in the automobile market and it will definitely be a success in Russia. Russian versions of Duster including interior design, equipment and engines, will be made up specially for Russia according to the tastes and demandes of Russian customers,” stated the press release.
