While some might believe this is a story about the car-owner mix involving Russian celebrity chef Aram Mnatsakanov and the 2017 Porsche Panamera, you should know we're more concerned about the timing.
You see, second-generation Panamera deliveries aren't supposed to start until this fall, but the chef has already been spotted behind the wheel of a Panamera Turbo.
We've shown you examples of the new Panamera in traffic before, but those were either vehicles completing the post-launch testing, or cars sitting in dealer lots.
Nevertheless, the adventure we have here, which sees the Panamera Turbo being photographed on the streets of St. Petersburg, is an image stunt coming from Porsche itself. Even so, we can't help but get a little excited over some fresh ingredients being transported with the help of the 2017 model's 550 hp.
When it comes to the official figures, we mustn't forget the 567 lb-ft (770 Nm) torque figure delivered by the new 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 replacing the twin-turbo 4.8-liter vee-eight of the first-generation Panamera Turbo.
Despite the new model not behind lighter than the one it replaces, the output premium, together with the new 8-speed second-gen PDK gearbox, mean the Panamera Turbo can complete the 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) sprint in 3.6 seconds. Add the Sport Chrono package and that time drops to 3.4 seconds.
Heck, if this Porscha were any faster, the chef would probably end up blending his vegetables while bringing them from the market. And until somebody comes up with a Nurburgring cooking challenge, such a stunt is probably a bad idea.

Here's Porsche's recipe for the all-new Panamera
And speaking of real world uses for the 2017 Panamera Turbo, we'll remind you that, earlier today, we showed you what happens when the driver of such a car decides to task his Zuffenhausen machine with completing a 0 to 140 mph (metric system fans should make that 225 km/h) sprint. When it comes to the official figures, we mustn't forget the 567 lb-ft (770 Nm) torque figure delivered by the new 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 replacing the twin-turbo 4.8-liter vee-eight of the first-generation Panamera Turbo.
