Hitman: Agent 47, the remake of the 2007 action thriller, made a respectable-sized appearance at the San Diego Comic-Con last week, when first footage of the long awaited movie was shown. Impersonated by Homeland TV drama star Rupert Friend, Agent 47 is an elite and genetically engineered assassin who helps a young woman to find her father. While fighting the bad guys and saving the girl, Rupert drives a red Audi RS7.
A re-imagine of Square Enix video-game Hitman series about the bald assassin named 47, the movie will be released in February next year. Homeland star Rupert Friend has got a bald head and a slick suit and will probably meet fans' expectations. However, the actor has a pretty tough job to fulfill, considering late star Paul Walker was originally cast for the role when the film was announced last year, but after his tragic death, Friend was recast for the part.
20 Century Fox debuted a few clips from the film during a panel at Comic-Con and a couple of pictures already leaked on the great world of internet. Besides the actual coolness of the shooting and drama going on, folks can also see Friend staying next to an Audi RS7, which is probably exactly the car you’d drive as a hitman while still laying low.
With a sleek, fastback body, this ride features aggressive styling modifications and gorgeous 20-inch wheels. A7-based, the RS7 functions through a spectacular turbocharged 560 horsepower V8 engine and sits on lowered suspensions. Imagine it will go with up to 174 mph (280 km/h) making it the perfect runaway car. In other words, this ride might come with six-figure price tag, but it’s as close as it gets to an R8 supercar.
