RS Tuning Releases 320 hp Renault Megane RS

We’ve recently tested the Renault Megane RS 250 Cup and discovered one of the best hot hatches in the world, However, it seems that there are some for whom the 250 hp of the car aren’t enough. To be more specific, we are talking about the UK aftermarket developer RS Tuning, which has just revealed the Stage 2 tuning package for the car.

So, what do the Brits offer? Well, the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder unit has received an alloy Forge Motorsport high flow intercooler, a choice of sports catalyst or cat bypass pipe (you can only use this on the track), a Milltek stainless steel performance exhaust system and a specially developed RS Tuning ECU remap.

The results, which have been proven thanks to dyno testing, are nothing short of impressive, as the peak power now sits at 320 hp (at 5,500 rpm). As for the maximum torque, this has been increased from 248 lb.ft (340 Nm) to 360 lb.ft (488 Nm) at 3,250 rpm, with 240 lb.ft (350 Nm) of torque is available from between 2500 – 6250 rpm.

The tuning company hasn’t offered any performance data yet, but claims that you’ll get an incredible driving experience.

No timing data is currently available for the RS Tuning Renaultsport Megane 250 Stage 2 upgrade package, but road and track testing has revealed supercar style levels of in-gear and outright acceleration,” a company statement reads.
