Roush Introduces New Phased R2300 Supercharger Line-up
“ROUSH will offer several variations for 2005-2010 Mustangs in both single-belt and dual-belt configurations. This allows the buyer to choose a core system and the starting horsepower level. The biggest choice is the single- or dual-belt configuration as you can only upgrade within that platform and not change from one to the other,” stated the press release.
The single-belt R2300 ROUSHcharger family includes the Phase, which starts at 475 hp & 435 lb-ft of torque and has a retail price of $5,799, the Phase 2, which offers 550 hp & 500 lb-ft of torque and can be yours for $6,699. Roush also offers an upgrade between the models, which costs $1,499.
The dual-belt R2300 ROUSHcharger line-up offers superchargers that are isolated from the other FEAD components, such as the alternator and water pump, allowing for better response. The entry level model is the Phase 1 (475 hp and 435 lb-ft of torque), which retails for $5,799. This is followed by Phase 2, which comes with 550 hp & 500 lb-ft of torque, having a price of $7,499. The range-topping Phase 3 delivers 625 hp & 565 lb-ft of torque, and is priced at $12,999. Users can choose upgrade kits (between the dual-belt phases), which ranges in price from $2,099.00 to $6,499.
The entire Phased R2300 ROUSHcharger line-up comes with an air-to-water intercooler, with the kits including Roush warranty.
